Very hard water area, do I really need ferts?

I was wondering whether you were just dosing weekly which would give the algae more of a chance to pick up excess nutrients.
Do you have enough plants for 1ml per day? I can never tell as I don't use ferts or CO2 in any shape or form.....
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

That's a good question
The answer is I have no idea.
I have however not noticed any benefits from using either or both so far.
I perhaps have enough in the water column and root tabs in the substrate to sustain plant life.
Superfish home 110 ,Superfish aqua pro 300 filter, + APS hob 500 filter.
Low tech set up.
