More likely they just lied to you.Unalome wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 11:50 am Thanks plankton, I asked at my LFS if they had experienced any issues there or had any one else report anything and they swear they've had zero deaths and no other reports from customers so either I was extremely unlucky or there is something about my tank that doesn't agree with the Wapoga's.

I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

Whilst all my fish are doing well (which is the most important thing) the aesthetics of the tank has taken a bit of a dip.
All of my Anubias is slowly melting away... The amount of leaves I lose on a daily basis is insane and I have no idea where I'm going wrong with it...
I dose API leaf zone once a week after each water change.
This is my current light settings;
There's also alot of brown algae on the seiryu stone now which whilst the Mrs likes it I'm not a fan...

The tank looks quite bright. Anubias don’t like bright lighting...?
They’re also slow growing so maybe too much food...?

I bumped up the lighting purely for the photo, it's no where near that bright with it's usual setting - OK maybe I'll reduce the regularity and amount I dose.black ghost wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 18:18 pm The tank looks quite bright. Anubias don’t like bright lighting...?

It might be worth spot dosing some peroxide and lowering the brightness right down. Anubias can grow in room lighting so enough light to see the fish works well.

It might do, it does prefer softer acidic water
