Hi All,
Im about to take a possession of a juwel vision 180l tank, 90cm long x 41cm deep x 55cm tall.
Would like to keep discus in this tank, but is it big enough?

I recommend a 4ft min for discus. Don't forget they can get to dinner plate size when fully grown!

You could house six juveniles and little else in a 180 litre aquarium. Idealy, above 250 litre long term.
WARNING - DO NOT BREED, FEED OR PET THE PUDDLE!

You really want a 4x2x2 minimum for discus.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

In the 1990s i did keep 4 discus in a 3 ft tank of about 140L it was time consuming though, 35% daily water changes with RO, a bare tank, just heater filter and light. the only decoration was an up-turned plant pot as a spawning site. I kept them for 4 years until I decided to add a plant tied to some bog wood which brought in the plague and killed them all. It was rewarding as they spawned and looked after their young until free swimming stage when they ate them due to having tank mates (the other discus.)
