Hi,
I think I know the answer to this but what are peoples’ thoughts on this stuff?
If a tank is already well established with enough beneficial bacteria, ammonia & nitrates aren’t giving any cause for concern I don’t really know what the benefit to using this stuff would be?
Says it works as a dechlorinator which is fair enough, but apart from that?

Cannot say I've ever heard of this company Microbe Lift before. Not I can't a lot as I use easy-life Fluid Filter Medium from time to time which is near enough the same thing.

Looking at the website it actually states;
"It is important to make sure you condition your water before adding Special Blend, to make sure there is no chlorine or chloramine present. This can be accomplished by using a water conditioner like Microbe Lift Xtreme to remove chlorine, chloramine, ammonia, and todotoxify heavy metals in your water."

That's the (only) stuff that Maidenhead sell - I've used it when adding new fish and it seems to be ok.
If at first you don't succeed....

Yes, I had noticed when I last visited Gillingham Maidenhead Aquatics, they only seem to sell a limited brand range of products and fish stock prices were very high.
They had AquaOak, some Fluval and everything else on their shelves seemed full of a product line called 'Aqua' The foods AquaCare, to me looked similar to Tetra foods, plus one called Aqua Nutrition. They also had Aqua-Substrate, AquaTropic filters, air pumps and Aqua Eco heaters. Aquamanta which looked like a rebranded Superfish or the American brand from Pets Smart. Even their pond products where 'AquaGarden'
At the time I didn't look at the treatment range, but looking on their website it's either AquaCare or Microbe-Lift treatments with a few known brands mixed in like API, D-D, JBL and Evolution Aqua but few of these are listed.
Seems to me Maidenhead Aquatics are aiming to sell their own product line maybe?
