Hi all,

I have read conflicting information as to whether these two species may be kept together as tank mates. Would anyone have any experience / advice?

Which Apistogramma do you have in mind? Blue Rams need higher temperatures than nearly all of them. Even if you can find a compatible species they’ll be direct competitors for territory, so won’t like being together.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

As above, apisto tend to be aggressive so I wouldn’t mix them with any other cichlids.

Apistogramma Sp. are best not mixed with other Cichlids. Good excuse to setup another aquarium just for them though. 😉
