Hi Everyone,
After my emergency advice seeking I thought I'd introduce myself properly. I'm from Liverpool and recently started out with a 40L tank to keep with my children. I never kept fish before this. Got some bad stocking advice from the local store and we have goldfish in there, but planning to move them to a larger tank or pond in the medium term and re stock with something more suitable.
In the long run I'd like a larger tank with a community, but I'll accumulate some more experience first.
Anyone else on the forum local to Merseyside and familiar with good stores and suppliers in the area? It looks like Merseyside Aquatic Warehouse could be worth a visit.
Thanks all for the advice and welcome so far.
Colin
Proper introduction

@Martinspuddle , once they are out I'd like to set up lots more plants, a little underwater garden and then either populate with minnows or put the heater in and get some guppies. Need to check out more about plants and the temps they need.
