Yeah I struggled to see any green in the Ammonia reading, it was the Nitrite I wasn’t too sure if it had went down as low as 0.2ppm after 24hrs I know it’s not the easiest to get an exact reading.
I’m actually wondering at this stage if it’s worth adding ammonia again or I’m about done with the cycle?
Will measure again this afternoon when I get in from work see if Nitrites look any different from yesterday.
Dr Tim’s guide says when done do a partial water change and add fish but doesn’t specific you how much, was maybe going to do like a quarter or something?
Presumably I’ll have to keep a close eye on nitrates after adding the first additions and get a feel for my maintenance schedule as I slowly build up the stocking.

That's definitely zero ammonia, nitrite is between 0.5-1.0.....

So 24 hours after adding the 2ppm Ammonia I have these readings, the nitrite I’m still not sure if it’s as low as 0.2ppm or not, and if it’s not I’m not really sure what the next step is ?
I’ve taken the pictures in different lights/heights to try and get a bit more clarity on it, they look like different readings depending on which photo you look at.

With API the correct reading is vial in contact with white background viewed in diffuse daylight through the full width of the tube. It looks like the nitrite has gone up slightly but it is definitely processing given the amount of Ammonia processed.

Keep adding ammonia daily until both are zero.
